Company History

MM Medical Aesthetics has agents in five Australian States, NSW, VIC, SA, QLD, WA. We have been operating for almost 25 years providing sales, service, import and training of a wide variety of the highest quality Beauty equipment.

I finished Slovak Technical University, graduated in 1990 receiving a Bachelor Degree in Biomedical Engineering ( B Sc ) medical equipment, and I was involved in electronics since I was 10 years old.

1995: I migrated to Australia and started working as Service Manager for a medical company Gammasonics P/L in Five Dock. One day the boss’s wife has returned in the office very upset – she went for a beauty treatment that could not be finished due to machine breakdown and the salon had no idea who can fix it. I realised a huge new opportunity for me – grabbed a copy of Yellow Pages, sent letters to all salons offering them repair/ service. I did not even have a workshop or proper tools yet. I started fixing beauty equipment as a second job on evenings and weekends. I remember the first facial steamer I fixed in front of the TV using an old towel protecting the carpet…sounds crazy but salons started to get to know me as a reliable repairman, a sole trader called MMB Electronics running this business as a second job. Soon I have quit my full time job, later in 2002 my sole tradership MMB Electronics was replaced by MM Beauty Equipment Services P/L.

Soon I have become an authorised service agent for large companies such as STEREX UK, WELLA Germany, GOLDWELL, ELLA BACHE, SALONQUIP, JOIKEN, Ra Fischer USA, and many more. During my journey, I have met some important people in the industry like Caroline Moran who have influenced me, sales agents who were asking if I could design and manufacture some key beauty equipment. Well, this has started a new chapter for my company – design and manufacturing.

1999: “Epiblend” Electrolysis machines were born, my own design custom manufactured locally in a small private Sydney workshop.

2000: “Superlift” Nonsurgical facelift was designed and locally manufactured also in a small private Sydney workshop.

2001: Epi Peel Microdermabrasion was born, my own design manufactured in my small private workshop in Sydney and was in production for 14 years. Hundreds of them were produced and sold Australia wide, even exported to Vietnam and New Zealand.

During the last 20+ years in Beauty industry I have seen companies come and go, companies changing names due to unethical practice for profit ….. we are still here trading under the same name and my loyal customers are still coming back for more.
