Plasma therapy is the aesthetic industry’s most advanced non surgical, skin lifting and tightening treatment. It is used with great results for wrinkle smoothing, eyelid tightening, eyelid hood reduction, smoker’s lines, marionette lines, crow’s feet, frown lines, ear lobe tightening and more, resulting in a more youthful appearance.

This innovative technology utilises plasma – formed through ionisation of atmospheric gasses – to stimulate instant contraction and tightening of skin fibres. This technology does not use scalpel or laser to remove excess skin, thereby avoiding all risks inherent to the traditional intervention.

The treatment is performed through minute spots made with a pen type device at a certain distance one from the other to stimulate instant contraction and tightening of skin fibres.

Results can be seen immediately but continue to improve over a 6-8 week period and can last up to around 3 years with many results permanent. This is done all without the use for needles, scalpels, anaesthetic or costly surgery.

Treatments can cause an instant effect on your clients and may include redness and swelling of the area treated for up to 2-3 days. Side effects vary from client to client. The healing process will include crusting (which should be left to fall away naturally) over the course of about a week.

Treatments can sometimes lead to more prolonged redness and swelling, while the skin recovers, this is more likely when the eye lids or areas close to the eye are treated. It can take up to 7 to 10 days to fully recover for some individuals.

Makeup can be applied as cover where needed but should not be applied for 24hrs after the treatment. The results are instant and improve over the next 2-4 weeks.

The pain during a Plasma Lift treatment should be minimised with the use of a local anaesthetic cream. The healing process can cause some mild discomfort but over-the-counter pain relief can be taken to help.

There are many areas PlasmaLift can be of benefit too. The skin tightening effect and improvement of texture are the biggest benefits. PlasmaLift offers your clients a soft surgical option for blepharoplasty, smokers lines reduction, marionette lines and nasolabial folds reduction.

Each client will respond differently to Plasma Lift, but generally one to three sessions are needed. Most people will respond effectively after one session and will be able to see the effect immediately. Clients can expect a continued improvement in their results over time as their body responds to the treatment and builds more collagen along with improving elastin production.

PlasmaLift is a fast and effective treatment and should take just 1 hour from beginning to end, including topical anaesthetic, preparation and the treatment itself.
